Timed to follow the publication of the Greater Manchester Local Industrial Strategy, this conference brought together stakeholders to discuss the way forward for realising its aims of boosting productivity, earnings and wellbeing across the Greater Manchester region.
As one of the three ‘trailblazer’ areas in the UK, the Manchester Local Industrial Strategy aims to create well-paid jobs in new industries, increase competitiveness in high employment sectors and build on local strengths and opportunities to create a digitally-enabled, green city-region.
