Following vast increases in machine-to-machine (m2m) communications and with public and private organisations testing a variety of innovative applications - ranging from sensors that monitor the behaviour of cities, to dynamic information for road users and rural broadband in hard-to-reach places.
Delegates assessed - in the context of policy development, and opportunities for businesses, communities and consumers in the UK - the potential of connected devices and networks, including the benefits and outstanding issues related to connected homes and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITSs) which utilise creative application of wireless sensors and collected data to create improved services and new revenue streams.
