This seminar brought together senior policymakers, NHS staff and further stakeholders to assess the future of the health and social care workforce in England.
It took place during the consultation period on Health Education England’s draft health and care workforce strategy for England to 2027 and delegates had a chance to feed into the development of the strategy due to be released in the summer of 2018.
Key discussion points across the morning included:
- Future trends and challenges for the health and social care workforce;
- Priorities for the professions in primary, secondary and social care, and for Allied Health Professionals;
- The future for education, training, skills and development - as well as priorities for Health Education England;
