This conference examined the future for Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs) in the UK.
Areas for discussion included:
- progress - latest thinking on the Government’s targets for zero emissions at the tailpipe and ending petrol and diesel cars sales
- challenges - scaling up - commercial and infrastructure issues - tackling barriers - options for support for the UK automotive sector
- regulation - assessing priorities for reform and the future framework

- scaling up - next steps for electric vehicle and charge point rollout

The conference was an opportunity for stakeholders to consider the issues alongside key policy officials who attended from the DfT; the ORR; BEIS; HMRC; HM Treasury; the Cabinet Office; Defra; the DCMS; the DfE, NI; the DIT; DAERA, NI; FCDO; the GLD; HSE; the House of Commons Library; the MCA and the Welsh Government - as well as parliamentary pass-holders from the House of Lords.
