This conference examined priorities and next steps for supporting and growing the social care workforce - looking at both immediate and long-term issues.
Stakeholders and policymakers discussed the issues in the context of implementation of the People at the Heart of Care: adult social care reform white paper - the Government’s 10-year vision for person-centred social care in England.
Key areas for discussion included:

The conference was an opportunity for stakeholders to consider the issues alongside key policy officials who attended from DHSC; DWP; HMPPS; HM Treasury; the NAO; the UK Statistics Authority; and The Scottish Government.
