This conference examined the next steps for online policy and regulation in the UK.
It was a timely opportunity to discuss the future of the Online Safety Bill, and priorities for policy under the new Prime Minister, as well as the implications - for stakeholders in the digital economy, citizens, the economy, and international relationships - of varying options for the UK’s online safety regime.

We were pleased to be able to include keynote sessions with Jon Higham, Online Safety Policy Director, Ofcom; Professor Sonia Livingstone, Department of Media and Communications, LSE; and Simone Vibert, Head of Policy, Internet Matters - as well as contributions from the ICO; Cyacomb; Lewis Silkin; Mishcon de Reya; and NMA.
The conference gave an opportunity for stakeholders to consider the issues alongside key policy officials who attended from the DCMS; DIT; the Home Office; the House of Commons Library; ICO; IPO; NAO; and Ofcom - as well as parliamentary pass-holders from both Houses of Parliament.
