This was the first in a planned series of conferences on the complex issues raised in the Broadcasting White Paper.
For this opening conference, the agenda was structured to bring out an overview of latest thinking on:

- reflecting UK society - serving the interests of citizens, consumers and those working in the sector - ‘distinctively British’ content - diversity - regional and national representation
- on-demand services - key issues - value exchange - market development - options for policy and regulatory frameworks
We were pleased to be able to include keynote sessions with Clare Sumner, Director, Policy, BBC; Emily Davidson, Head of Policy and Public Affairs, Channel 4; and Patrick Holland, CEO, Banijay UK.
The conference was an opportunity for stakeholders to consider the issues alongside key policy officials who attended from the DCMS; NAO; and Ofcom - as well as parliamentary pass-holders from the House of Lords.
