This conference examined priorities for the next National Infrastructure Assessment and looked more broadly at the challenges being faced around infrastructure investment and delivery.


Delegates considered the issues in the context of the National Infrastructure Strategy and the launch of the National Infrastructure Bank - as well as the policy and stakeholder agendas on climate change, sustainability, and tackling regional disparities across the UK.

  • the next National Infrastructure Assessment and implementing the National Infrastructure Strategy
  • finance - the effectiveness of infrastructure funding regimes, latest thinking on attracting investment, and priorities for the National Infrastructure Bank
  • climate - building resilience and issues for improving infrastructure readiness for net-zero
  • delivery - adapting to the impact of the pandemic and developing regional infrastructure to support economic recovery
  • policy - priorities for meeting national and regional infrastructure objectives in the long term
