This conference examined the Government’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy, as well as wider issues relating to the UK approach to AI.
It was an opportunity to consider the implications of the Strategy for stakeholders, society and the UK economy - and what would be needed if its aims are to be achieved.
Areas for discussion included:
- planning, investment, market development, and transition to an AI-enabled economy
- governance on both a UK and international level, and securing the UK’s leadership position in the global AI ecosystem
