This seminar assessed the next steps for technical education in England at a time when preparations are under way for the first three T-level programmes - Digital, Construction, and Education and Childcare - which are due to be taught from 2020.
Delegates examined various aspects of reforms of the technical education system, including the implementation of T-levels and the future grading system.
Attendees also discussed how to strengthen partnerships between education providers and employers, programmes of work placement and industry requirements.
Further sessions on the day focused on the need for a numerate and literate workforce in Britain, the importance of career advice and how to make T-levels appealing to young people.
