This seminar assessed the further steps that can be taken to support the delivery of apprenticeships.
Delegates discussed the way forward in the context of reforms to apprenticeship funding introduced last year - including key concerns from education providers and employers - and what more might be done to increase engagement.
Further sessions assessed the impact of the apprenticeship levy following its first full year of implementation, its contribution towards realising the Government aim of creating 3 million apprenticeships by 2020, and whether the levy should be reformed into a more general training levy.
