The seminar considered potential next steps for delivering place-based care and for health and social care devolution in England.
Sessions focused on progress made in integrating care services following devolution deals made in Greater Manchester, London and Surrey, as well as the potential for integrated care systems in working in partnership to improve their local population health.
Delegates also considered opportunities for patient involvement in shaping service delivery, the practicalities of implementing pooled budgets and joint-decision making between CCGs and local authorities, and the future for health and social care devolution policy more broadly.
