Following the launch of the Fundraising Preference Service and continued update of the Code of Fundraising Practice, delegates considered the future for the fundraising sector.
Planned sessions focused on the developing role of the Fundraising Regulator in maintaining standards, as well as next steps for ensuring public trust in charities and developing technology to support fundraising.
It was also an opportunity to consider key issues for charities in preparing for General Data Protection Regulation coming into effect in May 2018, and potential implications of a new Data Protection Bill on fundraising.
