Growing the UK Information Economy: infrastructure, skills and innovation

April 2014

Starting from: £99 + VAT
Format: DOWNLOADABLE PDF

This seminar offered delegates a timely opportunity to discuss the challenges of implementing the Information Economy Strategy.
Sessions examined the key priorities for the Information Economy Council - including the opportunities for improving links between academia, public sector organisations and industry so as to boost key skills in the development and utilisation of information technology. With the Council attempting to create a shared vision for the information economy in the UK, delegates considered how to develop and then utilise physical communications infrastructure and regulatory frameworks for online trade and cyber security to enable innovation and growth. This includes trade online and revenues in domestic and international markets for UK businesses and organisations, especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
