The 2013 Westminster Health Forum seminar on dentistry took place at a time of major change within the NHS and followed the authorisation of NHS England as the commissioner of dental services.
Delegates discussed the impact on the dental industry of the changes to commissioning, whilst further sessions focused on the dental pilots; looking towards the new dental contract. The seminar also provided an opportunity to discuss the effects of the government's response to the OFT review on the UK dental market, including the possible introduction of Any Qualified Provider, and the key issues of access, transparency of information and regulation.
