The future of the primary curriculum

Q1 2011
VENUE:Central London

Following the decision by the new Coalition Government not to implement the Rose Review, the future of the primary curriculum is unclear. With a new curriculum promised by the Secretary of State to be based upon the recommendations of the Cambridge Review and best practice in British primaries and from abroad, this seminar will explore how a new curriculum for primary schools should look. At this early stage we expect sessions to look at the transition from early years to primary education, concepts of cross-curricular teaching and the core aims of primary education.
