As Sir Jim
Rose embarks upon his ‘root and branch’ review of the primary curriculum, this
seminar will bring stakeholders, government officials and Parliamentarians
together to discuss implications of the proposed reforms, and future directions
for policy on early education.
With the
Children’s Plan announcing funds for playground refurbishment and the extension
of the secondary Building Schools for the Future programme into parallel pilot projects
in primary schools, the potential impact of capital development on learning
opportunities and the role for stakeholders in development will also be
discussed.
