Next steps for dementia diagnosis, care, and research in England

Morning, Wednesday, 16th March 2022

This conference focuses on next steps and long-term policy priorities for improving dementia diagnosis and care.

Delegates will also discuss priorities for dementia research going forward, with dementia being included as a key challenge within the Government’s Life Sciences Vision.

It will be an opportunity to assess key opportunities and challenges to address within the new strategy for dementia currently in development following the end of the 2020 Challenge on Dementia, as well as the impact of wider adult social care reform.

The discussion is bringing together stakeholders with key policy officials who are due to attend from the DHSC; and the DLUHC.
