Central London

THIS EVENT IS CPD CERTIFIED

This seminar will bring together policymakers and stakeholders to discuss the next steps for planning and investing in infrastructure projects nationwide.

It will be an opportunity to discuss the options for incorporating the National Infrastructure Assessment (NIA) into the UK infrastructure pipeline and the priorities for funding and delivery of major projects - including those across the transport and energy sectors.

Further sessions will look at the role of the Government in financing infrastructure following the Industrial Strategy, which announced substantial new funding for major projects, as well as the opportunities for securing private investment in current and future projects.

Delegates will assess the challenges for planning new infrastructure and the role of Metro Mayors in securing funding for key regional infrastructure and the opportunities for regional economic growth linked to them - as well as the next steps for infrastructure contractors following the liquidation of Carillion.
