Morning, Tuesday, 9th October 2018

Central London

THIS EVENT IS CPD CERTIFIED

This seminar will be a timely opportunity to discuss the next steps for the development and rollout of low emission vehicles as the Government releases its ‘The Road to Zero’ strategy aiming to put the UK at the forefront of the design and manufacturing of zero emission vehicles.

Sessions will discuss the challenges and opportunities in delivering the strategy including plans for the expansion of green infrastructure across the country, how best to reduce emissions from the vehicles already on the UK’s roads, and next steps for increasing uptake of zero emission cars, vans and trucks.

Delegates will also discuss the potential impact of the Automated and Electric Vehicles Act - which seeks to improve the availability of electric charge points and insurance for driverless cars, the role of the Electric Vehicle Energy Taskforce to be set up as part of the strategy - as well as the challenges for promoting innovation in hybrid and battery technology, and priorities for attracting investment in new types of electric vehicles.
