THIS EVENT IS CPD CERTIFIED
This timely seminar will examine the next steps for developing the Knowledge Exchange Framework.
It will be an opportunity to examine the specific KEF proposals expected to be published in the summer, to reflect on the lessons gained from the KEF development process, and to discuss preparations for the KEF’s implementation.
Delegates will also consider potential challenges in the design of the framework, particularly in ensuring that the metrics to be used reflect the broad range of knowledge exchange and knowledge transfer activities carried out by higher education institutions.
Further sessions will discuss how best to ensure that incentives to compete do not disrupt collaborative research programmes, the future role of catapults, and further steps that might be taken to maximise university intellectual property generation.
