This seminar examined the future for Applied General Qualifications (AGQs).
Stakeholders and policymakers discussed the key themes emerging from the government consultation on the current framework of all existing vocational qualifications at 16-19.
Attendees also looked at the qualifications needed by sectors which don’t have a T-level route such as retail, sport and the performing arts.
The seminar also examined the current standards and quality of AGQ provision. Further sessions considered how to raise the quality of AGQs and improve learner engagement whilst also ensuring that they remain relevant and useful to those studying them.
