This conference examined the next steps for policy on natural capital protection and restoration in England.
It was an opportunity for delegates to assess priorities for natural capital protection in the context of relevant developments, such as the Dasgupta Review, the introduction of Environmental Land Management schemes, and measures outlined in the Environment Act. Delegates will also look at progress and next steps for the Government’s commitments in the 25 Year Environment Plan.
Sessions in the agenda looked at:

- regulation for natural capital and resource protection targets
- ecosystem services and the use of natural capital accounting
- reform to land management systems in England
- the future of nature-based solutions
- long-term policy for natural capital and species protection
