October 2021

This conference was an opportunity to discuss priorities for future-proofing infrastructure services across transport and housing, the delivery of major projects, and achieving the objectives set out in the London Plan following the Mayoral elections.

As the conference took place at a key moment for London’s regeneration, and in the wake of COVID-19, delegates will discussed how infrastructure development in the capital dovetails with priorities for the city’s recovery from the pandemic, as well as progress with the development of the Old Oak Common project and links with HS2.

We were pleased to be able to include keynote contributions from Andrew Boff AM, Chair, Planning and Regeneration Committee, London Assembly, and Molly Strauss, Head of Infrastructure, Greater London Authority.

The agenda brought out latest thinking on:

  • next steps for supporting economic growth and future-proofing development
  • priorities for London’s economic recovery and meeting the objectives of the London Plan
  • modernising core infrastructure assets and priorities for the city’s transport network
  • planning rules in London and boosting the construction of affordable housing
  • the delivery of large-scale projects in London
