February 2017

Price: £95 PLUS VAT
Format: DOWNLOADABLE PDF

At a time when uptake and innovation continued apace, this seminar was an opportunity for delegates to examine the latest issues and priorities for the development of the internet of things sector throughout the UK.

With the growing commercial uptake of large-scale applications, delegates considered the barriers to overcome to fully realise the value of IoT for businesses - particularly in terms of standards, data and cyber security - as well as examine the key commercial opportunities presented in areas such as automation, efficiency and data usage. Delegates also discussed emerging issues surrounding public and private investment and cross-sector collaboration, examining how findings from pilot programmes can be effectively utilised to inform future projects, next steps for developing purpose built infrastructure and protecting data, as well as considering what next for increasing consumer awareness and trust in smart devices.
