Attendees discussed priorities for healthcare research and clinical research facilities,the impact of Brexit on the research workforce and regulation, as well as next steps for collaboration between the NHS, academia and industry in light of the Academic Health Science Networks' (AHSNs) current 5-year license expiring in 2018.
