This conference brought together policymakers and key stakeholders to discuss the policy priorities for the UK food, drink and farming industry.
With discussion on the impact of the EU referendum on the UK’s food and farming sector, the seminar was also a timely opportunity to discuss Defra’s industry-led 25-year target plan to boost the growth of the UK’s food and farming sector.
Further planned sessions assessed the commercial opportunities and challenges for industry including next steps for UK brands internationally and their access to new and established markets, innovative approaches to improving efficiency, and issues for meeting the demand of new skills in the sector.
