This seminar provided an opportunity to discuss the progress of Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and NHS England in commissioning services and improving outcomes.
Delegates discussed how effectively CCGs and NHS England are working with each other and with other key partners; the challenges of engaging clinicians; and the challenges and impact of changing funding allocation for CCGs.
Further sessions focused on the move towards further integration of care, the role of the third and independent sector in the commissioning process and as providers, and the next steps for commissioning support.
