This timely seminar brought key policymakers and stakeholders together to discuss the future challenges and opportunities for the development of the agri-tech industry in the UK. It followed the release of Government's UK Strategy for Agricultural Technologies.
Sessions focused upon how the sector could contribute to meeting the food and environmental challenges around the world, as well as contribute towards meeting the Government's targets for economic growth in the UK. Delegates also had the opportunity to discuss Government's key priorities in this area including: developing agricultural technology, accelerating knowledge transfer, increasing UK agri-tech exports and building a stronger skills base.
