This seminar focused on the impact of changes to the delivery of training, education and workforce development in health and social care following the implementation of the Health and Social Care Act and the publication of the Care Bill.
Delegates discussed the development of Health Education England (HEE) and Local Education and Training Boards (LETBs) and how they will be able to work with local authorities, commissioners and the workforce, following the publication of their mandate from the Government. Further sessions addressed regulation and revalidation, leadership and workforce management, and improving patient outcomes.
