Following the release of the Framework for Sexual Health Improvement in England, attendees at this conference considered the next steps for sexual health services.
Speakers and delegates assessed the provision and commissioning of sexual health services in the reformed NHS, as well as progress by bodies including Public Health England, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Health and Wellbeing Boards and NHS England. Further sessions focused on the challenges surrounding the improvement of SRE, following the Department of Education's review of PSHE, and the Government's ambitions on sexual health, including decreasing the number of unwanted pregnancies and greater efforts to prevent STIs and HIV.
