This forward-looking event brought out the latest thinking on the food and drink industry against the backdrop of a changing economic and legislative climate. Discussions covered the role of Government support for the food and drink industry, and examined the contribution of the industry to the UK's economic recovery. Sessions focused on workforce development as a key priority for the future of the food and drink industry, and considered whether there is a skills gap in the sector as well as the next steps required to head off future skills shortages.
