As News International newspapers in the UK assessed the effect of paywalls, this seminar took a look at the latest methods media organisations are employing to monetise their content online. Sessions examined the emerging business models being used to attract, collect and protect revenue and looked at what consumers are willing to pay for media. There was also analysis of the success of paywalls and their impact on production and standards, as well as the prospects for subscription, 'freemium' and ad-supported delivery.
