Engaging the public on climate change

November 2010

Starting from: £99 + VAT
Format: DOWNLOADABLE PDF

As doubts persisted about the causes and future impact of climate change, this seminar explored how government and the scientific community can foster better engagement with the public on issues around climate change. Timed to coincide with the build-up to the key United Nations climate change summit in Mexico, the seminar also examined what was likely to be achieved at the discussions - particularly with reference to the global public perception of climate change. Discussion also focused on how dialogue and co-ordination on climate change can be improved between government and the private sector in the development and implementation of climate change policy.
