This conference looked at next steps for the development of agricultural technologies in the UK.
Areas of discussion included the impact of the agri-tech catalyst projects with funding and research priorities for the catalysts moving into the third phase of the fund, and the role of Centres for Agricultural Innovation which were due to be introduced with the aim of supporting advances in sustainable intensification.
Further sessions discussed how best to promote UK agri-tech abroad; what more can be done to attract, develop and retain highly skilled workers; and wider Government priorities for the sector as the UK Agricultural Technologies Strategy moved into its third year of implementation.
