This conference looked at current challenges for the health and social care workforce and priorities for Health Education England.
It was an opportunity to discuss the workforce challenges associated with providing 7-day NHS services, the renegotiation of the GP contract, and wider issues regarding the recruitment and retention of health and social care workers.
Attendees also considered priorities for developing the diversity of the health and social care workforce, challenges for maintaining leadership standards across all levels of the NHS, and issues surrounding staff pay and disputes.
