Central London

THIS EVENT IS CPD CERTIFIED

This seminar will be an opportunity to discuss next steps for pharmacy services in England.

Delegates will consider recommendations from the Independent Review of Community Pharmacy Clinical Services, including proposals to redesign Medicine Use Reviews, effective use Summary Care Records as part of this process, and the impact of the review on future policy and contract reform.

They will also assess priorities for pharmacies as local footprint areas begin to implement their Sustainability and Transformation Plans, challenges facing Essential Small Pharmacies in light of efficiency savings, and the impact of the Pharmacy Integration Fund on joining up care.

Further planned sessions focus on practicalities for Clinical Commissioning Groups adopting their own locally commissioned minor ailment schemes by April 2018, key issues for regulation, and next steps for developing the pharmacy workforce.
