Westminster Health Forum

Next steps for devolution of health and social care services in England

Afternoon, Thursday, 19th April 2018

Central London

THIS EVENT IS CPD CERTIFIED

Bringing together both national and regional stakeholders and policymakers, this seminar will provide an opportunity to consider the implementation and impact of devolved health and social care in England.

In the context of the devolution deals signed in Greater Manchester, London and most recently Surrey Heartlands, delegates will consider the impact of devolved services on health outcomes and service sustainability, their alignment with the Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships process, as well as priorities for developing new devolution programmes in England.

Further planned sessions will examine opportunities for tackling health inequalities at a local level, the practicalities for joint decision making between local authorities and Clinical Commissioning Groups, and the role of patient, third sector and industry engagement within the devolution process.
