Priorities for the new Careers Strategy - next steps for standards, funding and meeting employer needs

Morning, Thursday, 12th October 2017

Glaziers Hall, 9 Montague Close, London SE1 9DD

THIS EVENT IS CPD CERTIFIED

Delegates at this seminar will consider the future of England’s careers system, with a careers strategy expected to be published later this year. Sessions will address the priorities for implementation, further action that might need to be taken by government, schools and employers, and the role for careers in the wider Industrial Strategy.

Delegates will also consider the challenges schools face in improving their careers offer to students, including support for careers leaders, ensuring access to impartial information about Apprenticeships and technical education, and issues around resourcing and budgets.

The seminar will bring together policymakers with key stakeholders including schools, representatives of employers and trade associations, careers advisors, universities, FE colleges and training providers, academics, and members of the national and trade press.
