THIS EVENT IS CPD CERTIFIED
This seminar will assess key priorities for growth in the UK tourism sector post-Brexit, and the sector’s place in the UK’s Industrial Strategy going forward.
Delegates will discuss policy to support the further development of visitor economies across the UK including investment in infrastructure, access to funding and options for deregulation - particularly to provide opportunities in rural and coastal communities.
Sessions will also consider how the industry can more effectively use new ways of working, with a particular focus on collaboration, diversifying services and product development, as well as new marketing strategies and the use of data analytics.
With an industrial strategy white paper expected later this year, policymakers and stakeholders will also discuss the development of a tourism sector deal, looking at regulation and connectivity, and assessing key challenges and opportunities as the UK withdraws from the EU. They will assess options for addressing current and future skills gaps, and for visa reform.
