This seminar will assess the future of competition in the UK TV market - with a particular focus on audience and market trends, technology and discoverability, and the way forward for policy.
Sessions will analyse ways in which TV service providers are adapting to consumer and technology trends, including through personalisation, integration of social features and commissioning premium content, as well developments in content discoverability and promotion.
Further sessions will assess policy and regulatory issues in light of Brexit, particularly in relation to the AVMSD and the impact of M&A activity within the sector.
