Morning, Tuesday, 22nd May 2018

Central London

THIS EVENT IS CPD CERTIFIED

Priorities for planning and delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK is the focus of discussion at this seminar.

Delegates will consider options for addressing the challenges of delivering major infrastructure projects, drawing in part on areas highlighted in the NIC’s priority actions for government statement - including HS2, deployment of 5G mobile networks and supporting renewable energy.

With the Government’s Industrial Strategy announcing substantial new funding for infrastructure projects across the UK - and as the NIC prepares for the publication of its 2018 National Infrastructure Assessment - attendees will also assess what is most needed from infrastructure development to contribute to sustained UK economic growth.

Further sessions will consider the future for infrastructure projects nationwide, looking at the planning framework for NSIP applications, attracting both public and private investment, workforce skills, balancing infrastructure requirements and the impact on the environment as well as wider issues for planning, financing and delivering local projects.
