Funding for regional projects beyond the European Union referendum - partnerships, devolution and the transition of EU Structural and Investment Funds

Thursday, 9th February 2017

Central London

THIS EVENT IS CPD CERTIFIED

Attendees at this conference will discuss key issues for regional funding and the European Structural and Investment Growth Programme following the recent referendum result.

This timely seminar will be an opportunity to set out the latest thinking in respect of transitioning from European funding to a domestic approach, and the future of the Local Growth Fund, growth hubs and devolution deals - and the wider local growth agenda going forward - as well as how arrangements might compare to previous European funded activity.

Delegates will assess the implementation of the 2014 - 2020 funding programmes to date, including the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Social Fund (ESF), and the record of these funds in supporting economic and employment growth.

Planned sessions will also focus specifically on the opportunities and challenges for Local Enterprise Partnerships and their public, private and third sector partners in securing funding, and best practice examples where bids for funding dovetail into wider business strategies, which then go on to benefit local communities.
